I was born into a military family, the oldest of seven children. Hence, we moved around a lot and had many experiences. After high school and some college, I got married. We have now been married for more than twenty years. We currently have two teenagers, and one child that passed away at 19 months old due to a terminal condition he was born with.
I’ve always enjoyed good stories. I remember reading a number of Charles Dickens novels in high school that I absolutely loved. He could lay out many different threads of seemingly unrelated events, then tie them together in a beautiful bow at the end. It was all connected.
My passion for writing actually came out of boredom. Shortly after being married, I worked in a factory which had very boring work. I needed something to occupy my mind. And thus, the idea for the Valmery Series was born.
That was about 15 years ago now. It hasn’t been until recently that I have been able to develop this story to what it is now.
I hope you will join me in this journey to see what else will happen. And join me as I continue to hone my creative ideas, and sharpen my story telling.
